About me...

So...who would you be working with?

Well, my name is Lynne Coppillie and I’m a native speaker of English. I was born and educated in England before embarking on my adventures abroad, which I’m still enjoying to this day!

Currently based in Valencia Spain, I’ve also lived and worked in France, Germany, Canada, Guinea Bissau and Spain.

Do I know my stuff ?

I think so, but of course learning never stops! I hold a B.A., M.A., and RSA Certificate and Diploma in TEFL. I’ve been working in the field of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) for over 2 decades now, teaching adults in different contexts: in companies (e.g. Henkel, Ford), in the British Council and in universities (e.g. Universidad de Valencia and Universidad Católica de Valencia).

I also work in many roles: as a teacher of Business and General English; an English Speaking and Writing Examiner; a Teacher Trainer with experience training prospective CLIL teachers; a proof reader and advisor for people writing in English.

And, last but not least, I’ve had my own learning journey trying to master other languages and finding a way to express myself in them. I speak German, Spanish and French. It’s an ongoing process but one I never tire of and that experience, I hope, will also be of value to you.
